Original Source
This recipe is from my mom's friend, Heidi. She calls them Black Belt Blondies because she makes them for her martial arts class.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9” x 13” pan with softened unsalted butter.
Whisk two eggs well in a large bowl.
Mix in the brown sugar, vanilla, and melted butter with a spatula.
Add baking powder, salt, and flour. Mix together with a spatula.
Stir in goodies.
Spread in greased pan and bake for about 25 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
The recipe can also be halved and baked in an 8” x 8” pan.
Mel's Notes
"1 cube" of melted butter is equal to 8 tbsp or 4 oz.
Notes from Mom
Here is the first batch of recipes for chocolate cake, cream cheese frosting, and blondies. Don’t forget to buy toothpicks for testing if baked goods are done! Enjoy ☺
