Instructions

Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease or line 10 muffin cups with paper liners.

  1. Prepare muffins: Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt together in a large bowl.

  2. Beat bananas, white sugar, melted butter, oil, vanilla, and eggs together in a separate bowl.

  3. Stir the banana mixture into the flour mixture just until combined.

  4. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups, filling each about 3/4 full.

  5. Prepare crumb topping: Mix brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon together in a small bowl. Use a fork to mix in 2 tablespoons of butter until mixture is crumbly; sprinkle topping over muffins.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 18 to 20 minutes.

  7. Serve and enjoy!

  • +1 extra banana

  • 1 tsp canola oil + 5 tbsp stick butter (instead of 1/3 cup butter)

  • 2x cinnamon crumb topping ingredients

  • A little extra salted butter on top of each muffin as they cool
